June is a great time to Visit Rome. The city is really easy to get around, and more affordable than we had imagined. I found an online deal for the double decker tour bus with “hop on – hop off” tickets, and it was really easy to go from one amazing sight to another. If you can get a rental car, just be careful to park in a well lit metro garage and take the train or bus to downtown.
In these photos, you’ll see the Apian Way, the Colosseum – behind us in a selfie on the bus :p, the chariot race track, and various interesting structures. My favorite?? The real “Michelangelo clouds”.
Here are some of the sights:
- Italian leather saddle bags. Of course!
- Seeing the Colosseum from the top of the tour bus.
