We want you to be aware of recent phishing attacks that use services like Simplenote, Google Drive, Onedrive, Dropbox, and other similar services. An attacker will send you an invitation to edit a document or share a file that comes from a legitimate service like Google drive. Inside this document may be some personally identifiable information such as compromised passwords that you previously used or other data that was leaked in a large scale hack.

If you receive these kinds of emails or invitations please do not click on them unless you are expecting an invitation from a client or other associate.

If you receive an email link that looks oddly like the one you recently clicked on. Please don’t click. Just forward the entire email to my work email: jon@creativetechshop.com.

Sorry if this scared you. 🙂

Wishing you all the best,

Jon Harrell
